Regulatory and Food Scientist Assistant

We are currently hiring an assistant for our Regulatory and Food Scientist dept. Qualified individuals will be responsible for but not limited to:

· Building relationships with current and new customers

· Assist Food Science team in making food samples from customer recipe

· Validate production procedures to ensure adherence to product formulations and specifications daily

· Verify preoperational sanitation through equipment inspection and environmental microbial monitoring

· Evaluate and update the food safety and quality management systems

· Scale up ingredient amounts and enter data into system for production

· Responsible for ensuring all ingredients and supplies are in house for each item on production schedule daily

Requirements:

· Proficient in all MS Office Systems

· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

· Excellent math skills

This is a full time position, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday and some overtime,.
