  • Mentorship & Training: Mentor and train Regulatory Compliance Specialist I and II staff, while developing comprehensive training materials for field employees.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident investigations and remediation coordination, collaborating with internal teams to develop and execute corrective action plans.
  • Technical Consulting: Provide expert technical guidance on SPCC/PPC plans, erosion and sediment controls, and project readiness to various operations teams.

Your Background:
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; 8 years of direct experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience: 6+ years of progressive regulatory compliance experience, with at least 4 years specifically in the oil and gas industry.
  • Midstream Expertise: Strong experience with natural gas pipeline regulation and coordination is highly preferred.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local oil and gas environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor staff and lead company-wide compliance strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills necessary for interacting with government agencies, company leadership, and contractors.
  • Field Readiness: Comfort with up to 30% travel to field locations.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with company policy.

Working Conditions
  • Must be willing and able to work in varying weather conditions and rough field terrain as needed.

Physical Requirements
  • See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
