JOB SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Manager (RSM), the Rehabilitation Services Coordinator provides high-quality clinical care while supporting professional development, clinical education, and community outreach for the Rehabilitation Department.
This position assists with department onboarding, mentoring, and skill development of therapies team members and students. The role participates in educational activities, represents CHN at outreach events, and supports clinical growth initiatives across the network. This position may actively partner with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to best support recruitment for the department, including providing subject-matter expertise during the hiring process and strengthening connections with academic programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Leadership: Acts as a mentor and provides support for the therapy staff as directed by the RSM. Serves as a clinical resource and role model for best practices. Ensures compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines and procedures. Assists the RSM in developing goals and identifying initiatives within the department.
Clinical Care: Provide evidence-based evaluation and treatment aligned with SLP scope of practice. Maintain productivity, documentation accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards. Serve as a clinical resource and uphold best-practice standards within the therapy team. Maintain familiarity with departmental policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
Education, Onboarding & Clinical Development: Support department onboarding and orientation of new rehabilitation staff. Assist in identifying learning needs and contribute to clinical skill development. Participate in the development and maintenance of clinical education materials, competencies, and training tools. Provide mentorship to Clinical Fellows in accordance with ASHA requirements. Support student education and serve as a liaison with academic programs as assigned. Participate in CHN and community education initiatives.
Outreach & Network Support: Represent Curry Health Network at community education events, student events, and professional engagements. Support limited outreach to universities and SLP programs to strengthen clinical placement opportunities. Assist with visibility efforts that promote CHN Rehabilitation Services in the community. Serve as a positive ambassador of the department and CHN.
Administrative & Department Support: Perform administrative duties including documentation, charge capture, and equipment oversight. Support department projects, quality initiatives, and performance improvement activities. Treat all patients and families with dignity; address psychosocial and cultural needs as appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned that support department and network operations in accordance with Curry Health Network’s Mission, Vision, and Shared Values.
