Rehab Supervisor - Physical Therapy

Job Shift: Days

Job Type: Full Time

Up to $15,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

The Rehab Supervisor assists Rehabilitation Director or Manager with coordination of physical, occupational and/or speech therapy operations, including performing treatments within the professional’s respective Practice Act, as prescribed by a referring physician.

• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans.
• Provide patient care.
• Communication Skills.
• Orients, trains and supervises new staff as well as current staff
• Special Projects

Education:

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in OT or PT.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in SLP.

Experience:

• Required – three years or more acute care experience. 
• Desired – 1 year or more in a supervisory capacity.

Licensure:

• Licensed by Florida Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance.

Certifications:

• Required:  Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, or Speech Language Pathologist, as required by State law
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or documentation that you are in the process of completing CCC, in the case of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLP
• Basic CPR.
