What You'll Do

• Encourage positive relationship building & Promoting Independence


• Transportation and Participation in Community Activities


• Personal Care/Assistance with Activities of Daily Living


• Medication Administration/Health Monitoring


• Crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution


• Cooking/Meal Prep/Dietary Support

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.  Associate or bachelor’s degree in health and human sciences preferred


• Successful completion of 6 months experience in Rehab Tech position and completion of all required trainings for Rehab Technician I position to be eligible to advance to Rehab Tech 2 position 


• Valid State of Michigan driver’s license


• Completion of all required trainings for Rehab Technician I position to be eligible to advance to Rehab Tech 2 position


• Must be able to work scheduled shifts, may include evenings/weekends/holidays


• Ability to lift 50 lbs


• Ability to pass background checks as applicable


• Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid


• Computer literacy/proficiency
