Rehab Tech PRN

Description

A Rehab Therapy Tech will transfer, transport and assist therapists working with young adult thru geriatric populations in a skilled nursing setting.  Rehab techs provide an important and supportive role to therapists while completing a variety of duties including the following:   preparing/cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area, inventory and restocking of supplies and equipment, posting schedules, and assisting patients before/after therapy.   

The therapy tech may also provide hands on assistance, under direct supervision and as directed by the licensed therapist, which may include telehealth therapy sessions.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent 

Preferred: 

Previous experience in the medical field

SKILLS: 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer skills

Strong analytical/problem solving skills.

Excellent customer service skills.
