Job Title: Rehabilitative Services Associate (RSA)
Department: Mental Health Housing
Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly), Full-Time and Part-Time shifts are available
Reports To: Behavioral Health Site Manager
Compensation Starting Pay: $16.50 per hour weekday and $20.80 per hour weekend rate
PURPOSE: The Rehabilitative Services Associate (RSA) provides direct supervision, therapeutic programming, and skill development services to youth receiving residential behavioral health treatment. Under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), the RSA implements treatment and behavior intervention plans while promoting safety, emotional wellbeing, and positive behavioral change. The goal of this position is to support youth in developing the skills necessary to successfully transition to a less restrictive environment, such as returning home or entering foster care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- completed under the supervision of a QMHP (additional information can be found in 89 Ill. Adm. Code 140.453) and include the following.

Problem Solving/Decision-Making: Ability to assess situations, respond appropriately to behavioral concerns, utilize de-escalation strategies, and exercise sound judgment in a residential treatment setting.
Proficient Computer Skills In: Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation/database systems.
Expert Computer Skills In: N/A
Resource Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain required documentation.Technical: Ability to implement treatment interventions, maintain records, and participate in therapeutic and rehabilitative programming.
Trauma-Informed: Demonstrates a commitment to trauma-informed care principles and applies those principles consistently when supporting youth and collaborating with team members.
