Provides administrative and lending support to the lending personnel within the bank. Responsible for processing loan documents including set-up and maintenance. Answers telephones, greet customers or guests, closes loans with customers with officer approval, and performs general support duties.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees the development and maintenance of loan and credit files.
Prepares various loan documents for Bankers ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
Processes and follows up on new and renewal documents, processes renewals on real estate files.
Prepares packets that include plans/cost breakdown for the appraisal department.
Processes and closes loan documents in person with customer.
Prepares the loan set up sheet.
Order loan documents through commercial attorney.
Processes loans from approval to closing.
Answers NSF’s and tracks financial exceptions.
Sends out new and renewal documents.
Obtains signatures for approvals of various exceptions.
Attends loan assistant meetings.
Orders Title Commitments, Flood Certificates, Appraisals, Title Binder Extensions, UCC searches and Credit Reports
Approves HUD's for closing, requests Plans and Cost Breakdown sheets for interims.
Processes customer requests or inquiries including loan draws or transfers.
Places Red Flag verifications on all consumer loans.
Communicates loan status with the Loan Origination Department, Compliance Department, Banker, and Customers.
Works directly with branch staff to coordinate and facilitate account opening needs, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all clients onboarding documentation.
Understands and agrees to abide by the policies and procedures established by Susser Bank.
Performs duties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Maintains the security and confidentiality of pertinent information and records.
Maintains current and up-to-date knowledge and continues professional development through training as applicable.
Demonstrates a courteous, pleasant, self-motivated, and dependable behavior. Maintaining a professional environment in both appearance and conduct.
Performs additional duties as assigned or directed.
Education and Experience Required
Associate degree or equivalent education and experience required.
Previous job related and customer service experience in a financial institution preferred.
Accuracy, attention to details, organizational skills.
Analytical skills, problem solving, good time management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Cooperation/Teamwork.
