This position will be in Huntsville, AL.\n\nPosition Overview:\n\nThe selected Reliability and Maintainability Engineer \u2013 Level 3 or 4 responsibilities will include the support of the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Specialty Engineering RAM team. This role is responsible for developing reliability and maintainability products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).\n\nThe selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels.\n\nThis requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.\n\nThis requisition may be filled at either a Principal Reliability \u0026 Maintainability Engineer \u2013 Level 3 or a Senior Principal Reliability \u0026 Maintainability Engineer \u2013 Level 4.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Reliability \u0026 Maintainability Engineer \u2013 Level 3: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master\u0027s Degree and 3 years of related experience, or 1 year of related experience with a PhD.\n * Reliability \u0026 Maintainability Engineer \u2013 Level 4: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience, or a Master\u0027s Degree and 6 years of related experience, or 4 years of related experience with a PhD.\n * Experience in Reliability and Maintainability discipline.\n * Experience with Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) analysis.\n * Experience with software architecture and design\n * Experience with the development and verification of RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) requirements.\n * Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS.\n * Applicants must possess good communication skills.\n * Applicants must demonstrate ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions.\n * Capable of working both independently and within a team environment.\n * Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start.\n * Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * GMD/GWS experience\n * Two years of experience within Reliability and Maintainability discipline. \n * Experience with risk analysis and risk management \n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $98,900.00 - $148,300.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $123,400.00 - $185,000.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
