Reliability Senior Principal Engineer
Job Description:Plan and coordinate testing to qualify new Optoelectronic Products to industry standardsSupport long term testing of parts thermal, electrical, mechanicalAssess test data using statistical analysis tools to project long term product reliabilityParticipate on cross functional product design teams providing guidance on setting requirements for qualification and long-term reliability.Support Marketing and Sales in answering customer inquiries regarding product reliabilityJob Requirements:Basic understanding of semiconductor physics and device operationExperience with electrical measurementsFamiliarity with statistical data analysis using software tools such as Excel, JMP, or MinitabExperience with thermal modeling and/or physical device modeling a plusExperience with design and assembly of printed circuit boards a plusDemonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional teamProblem solving skills - must be capable of analyzing weakly defined requirements, ultimately defining the issues and developing long and short term solutionsMinimum Qualifications:Master's degree or higher in engineering, physics, materials science, or a similar disciplineFamiliarity with software languages used for control of test equipment, such as Python, C/C++, or LabViewDemonstrated ability to communicate technical results, both through written reports and presentations
