Relief Veterinarian - PRN/As Needed

Alliance Animal Health is seeking a relief veterinarian in the Abilene, TX area. 

We are seeking a PRN (as-needed) General Practice Veterinarian to provide coverage during peak times, vacations, and schedule gaps. This role is ideal for veterinarians seeking supplemental income, schedule flexibility, or relief-style work. 

Our facility is designed to support efficient, high-quality medicine, allowing you to focus on patient care while working alongside an experienced and supportive clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general practice veterinary services to cats and dogs
• Perform medical treatments and soft-tissue surgeries as needed
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records

• DVM or equivalent degree
• Valid veterinary license in Texas
• Experienced in surgery and comfortable handling a variety of cases is preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
