About the role
The Remediation Technician assembles and configures computer equipment on a daily basis. Responsibilities:
• Assembling and configuration of Chromebooks, laptops, iPads, MacBook laptops on a daily basis
• Able to complete about 150 units daily
• Scan and upload data regarding incoming shipments
• Install applications/setup Wi-Fi profiles
• Communication skills and the ability to articulate your scope of work, status updates and other pertinent information to a customer, face to face or via telephone.
• Reference point for all related queries.
Candidate requirements
• Minimum of 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass full background check and drug screening
• Reliable transportation and insurance card as well as a valid Driver´s License
• Knowledge in computer technologies (Desktops, Laptops, Chromebooks, Tablets, or Peripherals)
• Ability to lift a device (10-30 lbs)
• Microsoft Office skills (Word / PowerPoint / Access / Excel)
• Able to commute or relocate Addison, IL 60101
• Good organizational skills and who can follow instructions
