Remodeling Warranty Technician

Job Summary:

A production position responsible for carrying out warrantied work on roofing, siding, windows, doors, and gutters varying from minor adjustments to full replacements.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot issue and provide solutions and effect repairs
2. Manually carry out repairs with the use of hand and power tools
3. Manually carry out installations with the use of hand and power tools
4. Take mental inventory of potential repair or install work, provide written estimates for non-warranty repairs
5. Fill out work orders
6. Collect payment, maintain control of payment until submitting to coordinator
7. Maintain company vehicle, ensure regular and timely maintenance
8. Deliver the highest level of excellence in customer service
9. Maintain regular contact with Warranty Coordinator after each scheduled job

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Licenses: N/A

Experience:

At least 5 years experience troubleshooting, diagnosing customer concerns with windows, doors, siding, and roofing installation. Install experience a plus, hands on repair work required.

Work Schedule: Full Time/First Shift Occasional Saturdays as dictated by workload.

Physical Requirements:

1. Lifting and carrying equipment, materials and supplies from service truck to residence or job area up to 105 lbs.
2. Operate metal brake
3. Climbing ladder
4. Frequent standing, walking, forward bending, lifting, carrying, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, reaching, balancing, driving, grasping, pinching
