Accountabilities
- Assist in financial analysis by interpreting financial data and preparing reports.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain and update books of accounts accurately.
- Collect and process employee timesheets.
- Calculate employee work hours and manage onboarding/offboarding.
- Compile and track team and individual performance data.
- Enter new employee data into the database.
- Collaborate with HR on performance management processes.
- Participate in regulatory compliance and reporting.
- Contribute to policy development and company-employee communication.
- Facilitate employee safety, welfare, and wellness education.
- Monitor quality standards and respond to employee inquiries.
- Distribute payment statements and participate in executive meetings.
- Source providers to enhance financial processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 6 months to 1 year of accounting-related experience.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Payroll Accountant.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Experience in manual bookkeeping.
- Ability to process employee salaries for 80 to 100 staff.
- Familiarity with Labor Laws.
- High integrity and confidentiality skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Creative writing proficiency.
- Ability to work with all levels of staff.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive, adaptable to change, and able to set priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
