Job Description - Advisory Solution Director - Salesforce Practice(Consumer Business Services)

The Acxiom Salesforce Practice is a Salesforce Summit Partner dedicated to designing, delivering, and optimizing Salesforce multi-cloud solutions that transform how our clients do business. The Acxiom Salesforce Practice is seeking an Advisory Solutions Director to join our remote North American-based Sales Team. This strategic role focuses on generating new logo business to expand Acxiom’s client base in the Consumer Business Services industries through consultative selling. 

 

You will engage with organizations across the Consumer Business Services industries, helping them drive innovation, customer engagement, and data-driven growth using Salesforce technology. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Drive strategic growth within the Consumer Business Services verticals by positioning related multi-cloud offerings (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data360 and Agentforce). 

  • Advise clients on Acxiom’s data management strategies to optimizeData360 and Agentforce. 

  • Lead solution strategy sessions, opportunity analysis, account discovery, proposal presentations, and statement of work (SOW) negotiations with C-level stakeholders. 

  • Collaborate with Salesforce account executives and ecosystem partners to identify and close new logo opportunities in Consumer Business Services. 

  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and solution demonstrations aligned to client business and technology objectives. 

  • Manage and influence the complete sales cycle, ensuring a seamless transition from strategy through implementation. 

  • Build long-term strategic relationships within the Consumer Business Services ecosystem to support sustained growth. 

  • Work cross-functionally with Acxiom advisory, engineering, delivery and marketing teams to develop industry-specific go-to-market strategies and solution offerings. 

  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting aligned with company goals and sales targets. 

  • Stay informed on emerging trends in Consumer Business Services to position Acxiom as a trusted thought leader. 

 

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE 

  • 5+ years of sales or account executive experience, preferably within Salesforce ecosystem consulting or services. 

  • 3+ years of experience working with Consumer Business Services clients. 

  • Proven experience selling Salesforce Platformand related Salesforce industry solutions and/or accelerators. 

  • Demonstrated success managing complex enterprise sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). 

  • Salesforce Certificationsin multiple Core Clouds, Agentforce, Data360 and Loyalty Management are strongly preferred. 

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES 

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data360 and Agentforce. 

  • Familiarity with Consumer Business Services business processes and industry challenges. 

  • Exceptional consultative selling and strategic solutioning skills. 

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities, with experience engaging executive-level audiences. 

  • Collaborative and influential leadership style; thrives in a “win as a team” environment. 

  • Eligible to work in the region where the job is advertised without the need for current or future sponsorship.
