Position Overview

We are hiring an experienced Aerospace Supplier Quality Auditor to strengthen and monitor our supply chain quality systems. The Aerospace Supplier Quality Auditor will be responsible for auditing, qualifying, and managing suppliers to ensure compliance with FAA 145, EASA, AS9100, NADCAP, and customer-specific requirements while supporting continuous improvement across the supply base.

Required Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of aerospace quality or supplier quality experience
• Working knowledge of FAA Part 145, AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP requirements
• Familiarity with aerospace processes (heat treating, shot peening, plating, thermal spray, grinding, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Skilled in root cause analysis and CAPA processes (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone)
• Auditor certification (AS9100 Lead Auditor or ISO 9001 Auditor) preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; QMS software experience a plus
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically for supplier audits

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site and remote supplier audits for FAA/EASA, AS9100, and NADCAP compliance
• Qualify new suppliers and monitor/re-qualify existing suppliers
• Develop and manage supplier scorecards and track corrective actions
• Review and approve FAIs and supplier quality documentation
• Investigate and resolve supplier non-conformances with CAPA implementation
• Collaborate with procurement/engineering to define supplier quality expectations
• Support FAA and customer audits, maintaining compliance records
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain
