Accountabilities
- Act as Staff-level technical owner for Voice AI and Agentic Agent architecture.
- Define reference architectures, best practices, and design patterns for Voice LLM workflows.
- Lead technical decision-making for platform selection and build vs. buy strategies.
- Design and implement end-to-end Voice AI systems using various AI technologies.
- Build conversational workflows with capabilities for tool use and human handoff.
- Architect and develop API-first, event-driven systems integrating various platforms.
- Ensure compliance and security requirements are met for all AI workflows.
- Mentor engineers on AI, Voice systems, and distributed architectures.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with focus on AI and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Voice AI systems, including LLMs, NLP/NLU.
- Proficient in Speech-to-Text (STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) technologies.
- Strong background in API architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with CCaaS / Voice platforms such as Five9 or Genesys.
- Strong coding proficiency in Python or other modern backend languages.
- Ability to lead technically without direct authority.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
