Job description

As an AI Workflow Designer, you'll be one of the builders behind how Athyna's Operations team works. You'll design, build, and maintain the automations and AI solutions that make company processes more efficient and reliable, always keeping the data behind them clean and dependable. You'll also do your part to reinforce our AI literacy across the team, collaborating on training as we grow our AI adoption together. You'll work closely with all departments and report to our VP of Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain automations on Zapier and n8n, from simple triggers to multi-step workflows.


• Create low-code AI agents or solutions to support process improvement.


• Document all automations and workflows for scalability and future use.


• Monitor and troubleshoot automation errors, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.


• Assist with reporting and data validation by creating and monitoring dashboards.


• Identify and report bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.


• Take part in Athyna's AI literacy initiatives, reinforcing good practices across the company.


• Stay current on new AI tools and techniques, and bring back what's worth exploring.


• Collaborate on other operational tasks delegated by the VP of Operations.

The successful applicant

• English at a near-native level (oral and written).


• 2-3 years of experience in operations, automation, or systems management.


• Proficiency with Zapier, N8N and Notion.


• Experience creating AI/low-code tools/solutions for process improvement.


• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Looker.


• Any experience with SQL or a programming language for data manipulation is a plus.


• Strong organizational and documentation skills.


• Problem-solving mindset: able to spot issues and suggest improvements.


• Strong understanding of remote work best practices, challenges, and trends.


• Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment; you’ll have guidance when you need it, but you’re also goal-oriented and can execute independently.


• Willingness to collaborate and assist whenever and wherever needed.
