This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Analista de Sistemas Delphi - Sênior based in Brazil.
This role offers the opportunity to work on the development, maintenance, and continuous evolution of business-critical software systems.
You will combine Delphi expertise with modern backend technologies to build reliable, scalable, and maintainable applications.
The position has a strong backend focus while also involving frontend development, APIs, database modeling, and system integration.
You will contribute to new implementations, analyze technical requirements, and deliver improvements that enhance system stability and usability.
The role provides an environment where experienced engineers can take ownership of complex technical challenges and support continuous product evolution.
You will work with technologies including C#, .NET, JavaScript, Node.js, Oracle, REST, SOAP, and established dependency injection and ORM frameworks.

Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain backend and frontend systems, with a primary focus on backend development, ensuring applications remain reliable, maintainable, and aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Participate in the analysis and specification of new implementations, helping translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Provide system support and implement improvements designed to mitigate errors, increase usability, strengthen stability, and continuously evolve existing applications.
- Design data models and create database scripts, working primarily with Oracle and applying appropriate database development practices.
- Develop, maintain, and integrate REST and SOAP APIs to support communication between applications and services.
- Apply appropriate development methods, techniques, and practices for Delphi-based applications and the broader technology environment.
- Work with dependency injection mechanisms and established architectural patterns to improve application organization, testability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to code quality, technical improvements, and the evolution of development practices across the software lifecycle.
- Collaborate with other technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements, investigate issues, and deliver solutions aligned with operational needs.
- Participate in Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement of team processes and delivery methods.
Requirements:
- Proven professional experience developing Delphi applications, with strong hands-on expertise in maintaining and evolving Delphi-based systems.
- Experience developing applications using C# and .NET, including .NET Framework versions 4, 4.5, 4.6 and .NET Core.
- Strong experience developing the backend layer of web applications, including application architecture, integrations, and service development.
- Experience with dependency injection mechanisms and familiarity with at least one of the following technologies: Castle Windsor, Autofac, Ninject, or Microsoft.Extensions.DependencyInjection.
- Experience with JavaScript and Node.js for application development and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with ORM technologies, including NHibernate, Microsoft Entity Framework, or an equivalent solution.
- Experience with at least one frontend technology such as RequireJS, React, or KnockoutJS.
- Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand existing systems, investigate technical issues, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining ownership of technical responsibilities and deliveries.
- A degree or technology qualification in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable.
- Technology-related specializations, courses, or certifications are considered a plus.
- Knowledge of C# beyond the required application development experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with the healthcare sector, including health plans, ANS regulations, and the TISS standard, is an advantage.
- Additional experience with Autofac, Castle Windsor, and NHibernate is desirable.
