Art Therapist

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized art therapy programs for clients.
• Conduct assessments to determine client needs and appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Facilitate group and individual art therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate art therapy into comprehensive care plans.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
• Educate clients and their families about the benefits of art therapy and creative expression.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of art therapy interventions and make necessary adjustments.

• Valid and current art therapy license or certification recognized in the state of practice.
• Masters degree in Psychology Social Work, or Mental Health.
• Strong understanding of various art mediums and techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in developing therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Demonstrated experience in working with diverse populations and addressing various mental health issues.
