We are seeking an Associate Application Engineer to support the design, development, and testing of enterprise financial applications and integrated business systems.
The role focuses on building reliable software components, supporting system integrations, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and functional analysts, to deliver scalable application improvements.

Accountabilities:
The Associate Application Engineer will be responsible for developing, testing, supporting, and improving enterprise application components while ensuring system reliability, data accuracy, and effective collaboration across teams.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise financial application components within Oracle ERP Cloud Financials and integrated billing platforms.
- Support end-to-end application engineering activities, including coding, configuration, testing, and deployment processes.
- Maintain system integrations, data flows, pipelines, and technical interfaces between financial platforms and connected applications.
- Collaborate with functional analysts, business users, and technical teams to translate accounting and finance requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles to validate application functionality and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot application issues, analyze system logs, and perform basic root-cause analysis to resolve errors.
- Monitor application health and support operational activities during critical business periods, including financial closing cycles.
- Develop and maintain reports, integrations, and technical solutions aligned with business needs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to application performance, reliability, and development practices.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have foundational experience in enterprise software development, Oracle financial systems, and application support, with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in enterprise software development or engineering.
- Hands-on experience working with Oracle ERP Cloud Financials.
- Strong foundational knowledge of BIP and OTBI Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling concepts.
- Experience using API testing tools such as Postman and working with REST/SOAP web services.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, analyze logs, and perform basic root-cause analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud-based UI extension tools such as Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) or Redwood templates.
- Understanding of data structures and integration formats, including XML and JSON.
- Knowledge of data orchestration pipelines and file-based data imports is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting processes or experience supporting financial operations is preferred.
- Experience with billing platforms and workflows, such as Zuora, is considered a differentiator.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
- Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and adapt to evolving technology environments.
