  • See the Bright Side
    – We stay optimistic and solution-oriented, no matter the challenge.

Position Details

📍 Remote – U.S. Based (occasional travel to New York City required and case related travel as needed)
🕘 Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 9 AM – 5 PM

You’ll work closely with our Managing Attorney and a team of 8–10 paralegals and legal assistants, in a dynamic environment where your leadership and legal acumen make a lasting impact.

What You’ll Do

As our Associate Attorney, you’ll lead with purpose and uphold the highest standards of legal service across a variety of humanitarian and family-based immigration matters. Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and preparing cases in the areas of VAWA, T visas, U visas, and Family-Based Petitions

  • Conducting legal research, preparing responses to RFEs, and writing memoranda to support client outcomes

  • Representing clients in interviews and hearings across the U.S., including asylum interviews, adjustment of status, and master calendar hearings

  • Preparing clients for interviews, ensuring they understand the process and feel confident

  • Applying critical thinking to solve complex immigration challenges and offer strategic advice

  • Demonstrating initiative in managing your caseload and contributing to firm-wide improvements

  • Proactively identifying and addressing potential legal issues based on evolving immigration policy

  • Communicating with clarity, empathy, and professionalism in high-stakes and emotional contexts

  • Inspiring hope through guidance, legal expertise, and a deeply human approach to client advocacy

Who You Are

You’re a seasoned legal professional who sees immigration law as a calling, not just a job. You combine deep legal knowledge with integrity, humility, and a drive to make a difference.

We’d love to meet you if you:

  • Hold a Juris Doctorate and are in good standing with any State Bar

  • Bring 9–11 years of legal experience, with at least 3 years focused on immigration law

  • Have expert knowledge of U.S. immigration law, policy, and procedures

  • Are willing and able to travel across the U.S. for client interviews and hearings

  • Communicate with clarity, confidence, and empathy

  • Excel at critical thinking and time management

  • Are collaborative, self-motivated, and solution-focused

  • Believe in ethical practice, trust-building, and lifelong learning

  • Lead with humility—you know you don’t have all the answers, and that’s why clients trust you

What We Offer

At The Law Firm of Moumita Rahman, we believe in leading from the heart—and that includes how we support our team:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Paid time off and holidays to protect your well-being

  • Collaborative and respectful team culture with 90+ team members

  • Ongoing training and professional development to support your growth

  • A rare chance to make a true, lasting impact in the lives of immigrant families

How to Apply

If you're an attorney who shares our belief in inspiring hope, upholding human dignity, and delivering exceptional legal service with heart, we want to hear from you.
