A respected plaintiff firm in Torrance, CA is adding an experienced Associate Attorney to its litigation team. In this role, you'll independently manage a steady caseload of 3040 active matters from filing through trial, supported by a skilled legal staff and collaborative leadership.

What You'll Be Doing

• Take the lead on a robust docket of personal injury cases, overseeing all litigation phases from complaint to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, law and motion, and settlement proposals.
• Handle depositions (plaintiffs, defense, medical experts).
• Participate in settlement negotiations and prepare for trial (second-chair or lead where appropriate).
• Communicate with clients frequently to update on case progress and expectations.
• Work closely with paralegals and support staff to ensure smooth file management and court readiness.

What You Bring

• 3+ years plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience (California-based).
• JD from an accredited law school and active California Bar license.
• Experience handling auto accident, premises liability, and general negligence cases.
• Comfort with high caseloads and a hands-on litigation style.
• Strong writing, organization, and client service skills.
• Trial exposure is highly desirable but not required.
