Summary:

As an Associate Systems Engineer, you play a key role in supporting the Systems Engineering organization through activities that drive customer adoption and ensure lifecycle management of customer products and solutions. This role involves technical assistance, configuration validation, solution design, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Assist internal teams with configuration validation in support of sales opportunities.

* Collect and analyze data to support the creation of sales plans and lifecycle management programs.

* Utilize established programs and sizing tools to deliver optimal product performance solutions for customers.

* Participate in the Account Planning process as part of a larger team.

* Support solution designs, taking ownership of simpler configurations under mentorship.

* Assist customers and prospects with demonstrations, system configurations, feature adoption, and technical inquiries.

* Work collaboratively with departments such as Customer Support, Professional Services, Renewals, Sales Operations, and Order Management.

* Support customer pursuits using established tools and internal systems.

Required Skills:

* Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

* 2+ years of experience, ideally within the technology industry.

* Strong phone presence and ability to handle high-volume customer interactions.

* Excellent teamwork, communication, and listening skills.

* Confident and professional verbal communication with strong presentation abilities.

* Analytical mindset with the ability to collect data, identify issues, and draw logical conclusions.

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in real-time environments.

* Demonstrated self-motivation and capacity to work independently while applying both business and technical acumen.

Desired Skills:

* Familiarity with current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN).

* Experience with Salesforce.com.

* Knowledge of VMware, Windows, UNIX/Linux, AIX, and NFS file systems.

* Experience preparing and delivering technical products or architecture presentations.

* Passion for technology with a proven aptitude to learn new systems quickly.

* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills applied to customer scenarios.
