Board Certified Internal Medicine/Pain Management Physician Advisor,

Dane Street is currently seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine/Pain Management Physician Advisor to join our expanding physician panel. This position is designed for professionals looking for a telework opportunity that offers flexibility and supplemental income. Our independent contractor reviewers (1099) are compensated on a per-case basis, allowing you to manage your workload according to your schedule.

The ideal candidate will hold an active California medical license and be Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Pain Management. Your expertise in both fields will be essential in evaluating medical necessity and providing objective assessments.

• Current, unrestricted California Medical License
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pain Management
• Proven experience with Independent Medical Exams (IME) and record reviews
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and documentation
• Ability to synthesize complex medical information and provide evidence-based conclusions

• Independent consultant role allows for schedule flexibility and predictable work hours. You choose services and case types, dictate volume, and conduct this work based on your scheduled availability
• No doctor/patient relationship is established and no treatment is provided. These are advisory-only opinions
• Typical TAT is 7 business days depending on the level of review. Dane Street keeps you apprised of required turn-around time and carefully coordinates all administrative tasks so your time is spent on clinical decision-making
