About the Opportunity
Start Date: September 2nd, 2025
Length of Fellowship: 10-12 months
Are you passionate about leading projects to advance sustainability solutions for community building, working with building owners and other technical experts? As a Buildings & Energy Fellow in the Climate Corps Fellowship program, you’ll be able to contribute to impactful climate resiliency & sustainability initiatives with the City of Bellevue.
This is a hybrid position with the expectation of onsite work 2 days & remote 3 days per week. Occasional work program activities or events may occur outside the standard work week hours, and will be communicated in advance (and whether they are optional). This position requires the employee to be physically located within commuting distance of Bellevue, WA, at the time of hire. Only candidates currently residing within commuting distance of the onsite location will be considered.
In this fellowship, you will be able to work with buildings and transportation solutions, including energy efficiency, electrification, and decarbonization, which are major climate mitigation strategies for the City of Bellevue and the wider Puget Sound region. This position will contribute to and lead projects to advance solutions for community buildings, working with building owners, property managers, or operators, and other technical experts.

Climate Corps
Climate Corps is a 10 month Fellowship program. We work with nonprofits, for-profit organizations and local governments to implement measurable greenhouse gas reduction projects and engage community members in climate protection.
