About the role
We are seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Manager to drive our media partnership and website acquisition pipeline in the US market. The ideal candidate has a genuine network within the affiliate, publishing, or digital media space, strong US market knowledge, and a track record of sourcing, closing, and managing commercial partnerships. You will own the full partnership lifecycle end to end, from sourcing and negotiation through to post-signing relationship management. The goal is building the kinds of relationships that compound in value over time.

What you'll do

• Source media partnership and website acquisition targets in the US market, primarily through your existing industry network.


• Build and expand your network by attending and actively working industry conferences and events.


• Lead outreach, qualification, and negotiation with prospective partners and site owners through to signed agreement.


• Manage the full partnership pipeline, keeping opportunities and deal status organized and reported to leadership.


• Own the relationship post-close: track performance, manage renewals, resolve issues, and ensure the partnership continues to deliver value for both sides.


• Represent the company at industry events, acting as a visible and credible point of contact for current and prospective partners.


• Collaborate closely with legal/commercial and SEO/content teams to ensure deals are well-structured and integrate smoothly after signing.

What we're looking for

• Strong US market knowledge: you understand the US digital media, affiliate, or online publishing landscape and know how to operate within it.


• Proven experience in business development and partnership management, ideally including sourcing or evaluating website acquisitions, not just standard media deals.


• An existing, active network in media, publishing, affiliate marketing, or a related digital industry that you can put to work immediately.


• A track record of effective in-person networking, and you're comfortable and energized on a conference floor.


• Strong negotiation skills and commercial judgment, with the ability to structure agreements that work for both sides.


• Excellent relationship management skills, equally strong at closing a deal and nurturing it over the long term.


• Comfortable owning a pipeline independently, from first contact through ongoing account management.


• Experience in SEO or affiliate marketing is a strong preference, not a strict requirement.
