THE OPPORTUNITY
We're seeking a talented Renewals Business Development Representative to join our rapidly growing team! In this role, you will reach out to many prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn. This new team will play a critical role in driving customer retention and revenue growth through a more focused and proactive engagement strategy. The team will report into our Sales Development function, but will stay closely aligned to the customer success team. This role will require approximately 25% travel as part of the role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that account executives have renewal conversations six months and three months from renewal
Obtain renewals as early as possible
Monitor customer health and risks and ensure those are addressed by the account team (sales, CS)
Ensure QBRs are set up with sales and CS attendance including touch points with CISO and leadership
Escalate to sales, CS, and company leadership as needed
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Cyera Data Security Platform, industry trends, and competition
Conduct high-level conversations with mid and senior-level executives in the security space
Performs other related duties as assigned
Work out of Cyera’s office (Chicago/NYC)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree
Communicate clearly and concisely, especially when it comes to complicated topics.
Results-oriented, metrics-driven track record
Excited to build a long-term sales career
Coachable and ready to learn concepts
Strong organization and time management skills with excellent verbal and written skills
Innovative, motivated, organized, high-energy team player with attention to detail
Self-starter mentality, leveraging your creativity, insight, and intellect to get the job done
You’re an overachiever. You never quit, never take no for an answer, and ultimately succeed in everything you do!
Ideally, experience as an SDR/BDR or inside sales professional in a B2B SaaS technology company
Cloud/data security industry experience a plus
Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and Sales Navigator preferred
COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.
This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
