Care Coordinator - Mental Health

Responsibilities

• Client Interaction: Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with warmth and professionalism, addressing client questions and booking appointments.


• Scheduling: Manage appointment calendars, schedule clients with clinicians, and ensure accurate and timely bookings.


• Coordination: Communicate with clinicians to confirm schedules, relay client updates, and support smooth daily operations.


• Administrative Support: Perform tasks such as data entry, filing, maintaining client records, and assisting with billing or other office duties as needed.


• Customer Service: Create a positive experience for clients, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported from their first interaction with our practice.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a care coordinator, receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service role in healthcare or mental health settings.


• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational abilities, and proficiency with scheduling software or office tools (e.g., Google Calendar, Microsoft Office).


• Attributes: Friendly, empathetic, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


• Experience working for a mental health practice strongly preferred.  


• Ability to work 32-40 hours a week as an independent contractor.
