About the Role:

Looking for a passionate and experienced hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology vision and execution. As CTO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical roadmap, building and scaling our platform, and ensuring the successful delivery of our products. You will be responsible for all aspects of our technology strategy, from architecture and development to infrastructure and security.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the overall technology vision and strategy for the company.
• Write the backend code initially
• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team.
• Architect, design, and develop scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Oversee the development and deployment of our products on Google Cloud.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our platform.
• Collaborate with product management and design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Manage and optimize our technology budget and resources.
• Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and industry trends.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
• Contribute to fundraising efforts and build strong relationships with investors.
  

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud).
• Experience with Flutter for mobile app development (iOS and Android).
• Experience with building and scaling high-traffic web applications.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for building innovative and impactful products.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment is a strong plus.
