Client Account Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE
Byte&Kite is a digital marketing agency helping clients across a range of industries grow through effective digital marketing. As a Client Account Manager, you will own a portfolio of retained client relationships, managing day-to-day communication, retention, growth opportunities and escalations. You will work closely with delivery teams to align client expectations with project scope, priorities and available capacity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Own retention and growth across a portfolio of client accounts

• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and run regular business reviews

• Manage client expectations, escalations and scope changes proactively

• Identify and develop expansion opportunities within existing accounts

• Work closely with delivery teams to keep projects aligned with agreed scope and priorities

• Track account health and forecast renewals, including accounts at risk

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of account management experience, ideally in an agency or professional services environment

• Proven experience managing multiple client relationships and retaining accounts

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Demonstrable experience managing scope creep and competing client priorities

• Comfortable handling difficult client situations and delivering challenging news early

• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for account growth

• Strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously

NICE TO HAVE
Marketing agency experience; experience with digital marketing services; contract negotiation experience; familiarity with CRM and project management tools; and experience working with B2B clients.
