Job Overview:

Lynchpin Consulting, a leading service company in Dubai, UAE, engaged in Accounting and Tax Services, and IT Consulting, is seeking a skilled and experienced resource in Accounting and (UAE) VAT for a remote position. This role involves managing critical accounting functions and overseeing VAT return filings for our diverse clientele in Dubai. The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of accounting practices and VAT regulations specific to the UAE, combined with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

• Accounting Management: Handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE tax laws.
  
• VAT Return Filing: Prepare and file VAT and Corporate Tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with UAE tax laws and regulations.
  
• Client Liaison: Act as a point of contact for clients regarding accounting and VAT matters, providing expert advice and support.
  
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and reports, offering insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
  
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  
• Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Assist in auditing processes as required.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure a cohesive financial strategy and client satisfaction.
  
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and VAT laws, continually enhancing your knowledge and skills.
  

• ACCA/CA(Inter) or equivalent qualification.
  
• Minimum 2 years experience in handling the Accounting, and Tax Returns. 
  
• Added advantage if you have experience with specific expertise in UAE VAT return filing.
  
• Strong understanding of UAE tax laws will be a big plus.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools e.g. Quickbooks/Zoho Books etc.
  
• Attention to details skill is a must as this job requires analyzing clients' transactions and then arranging them before posting in the accounting software. 
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively. This is a MUST requirement as this job requires independently supporting the client over zoom calls/chat/email. 
  
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a high degree of self-motivation and discipline.
