Cloud Architect

• Continuation of the multicloud strategy primarily with MS Azure;
  


• Driving automation innovation in the cloud space;
  


• Optimization of existing processes and implementations;
  


• Consults, implements or develops strategic processes of large-scale and very high complexity*, process landscapes, technology areas and service portfolios;
  


• Executes stakeholder alignments;
  


• Conducts activities in line with, and thinking beyond, given process landscapes and regulations;
  


• Accountable for the fit of relevant projects, services and solutions to division and corporate strategy;
  


• Active customer advisory services comprising consultancy, scope definition and planning for projects, services, technologies and solutions;
  


• Prepares cost estimates for technology-related sub-projects and services of very high complexity*;
  


• Defines the scope and executes the planning of projects, services & solutions of very high complexity*;
  


• Assess risk in his/her area of responsibility and implements or suggests appropriate countermeasures;
  


• Executes the detailed analysis & design in the specification part of the value chain, transfers user requirements into a reliable working concept;
  


• Supervises the realization and run of the concept and assignments, and installation of operational measures for quality assurance;
  


• Continuously identifies and initiates service improvements in technological environments of very high complexity*;
  


• If applicable: Support of business partners during user requirement specifications;
  


• Represents the team in management meetings, leading boards and working groups as assigned by superior;
  


• Translates strategic goals into operational measures;
  


• Functional leadership within area of expertise as assigned by superior;
  


• Creates guidelines and procedures for specific technologies, confirms architecture or solution proposals;
  


• Collaborates in international business contexts including virtual teams;
  


• Represents the organization effectively to cross-functional stakeholders, business partners and external groups.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, software engineering or a similar subject or knowledge and skills acquired in practice;
  


• At least 3 years of professional experience in a of professional experience and in-depth technical knowledge of IT cloud solutions and products;
  


• At least 5 years of experience in IT architecture;
  


• Ability to build very good relationships with stakeholders, customers, colleagues and suppliers, ideally acquired in a large customer and operational performance driven organization;
  


• Excellent knowledge of IT processes and operations;
  


• Fluency in English (most daily communication will be in this language);
  


• Experience in supplier management an asset is welcome.
