Job Description - Community Liaison


Mindcolor Autism, named one of Glassdoor’s Top 50 Places to Work in 2025, is seeking a Community Liasion to join our team.  The Community Liaison supports Mindcolor’s growth by serving as the "face" of the organization in the community. This role focuses on executing the boots-on-the-ground outreach strategy directed by the Director of Growth and Partnerships.

Responsibilties

Market Outreach & Relationship Management

? Conduct a minimum of 100 in-person meetings per month with potential referral sources, including pediatricians, diagnosticians, schools, OT/Speech providers, hospitals, employers, and community organizations.

? Conduct regular "drops" to distribute branded marketing materials and leave a positive, lasting impression of Mindcolor’s mission.

? Identify and qualify new referral opportunities, acting as the first point of contact for potential community partners.

? Assist in hosting and attending community marketing events to build brand awareness.

? Maintain consistent contact with prospective sources to provide updates on center progress and intake availability.

Data &Reporting

? Maintain a comprehensive and accurate list of referral sources and outreach activities using Google Sheets or CRM software.

? Provide regular updates to the Director of Growth and Partnerships on meeting quotas, lead quality, and community feedback.

Operational & Clinical Collaboration

? Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure all materials and messaging align with Mindcolor’s scope of services and values.

? Foster relationships with other disciplines (OT, Speech) to facilitate holistic care for prospective clients.

? Assist Center Directors in existing regions with localized community

Required Competencies & Demonstrated Skills:

  • High Energy & Drive: Self-motivated to spend the majority of the day "in the field" visiting partners.
  •  Communication: Excellent interpersonal and professionalcommunication skills across all formats.
  • Organization: Strong time management skills to balance a high volume of meetings and follow-ups.
  • Relationship Building: Passion for networking and telling the Mindcolor story to generate leads.
  • Resilience & Persistence: Tenacious mentality to creatively overcome barriers and engage partners.
  • Reliability: Dependable, professional, and able to meet strict outreach deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in healthcare sales, community outreach, or physician liaison roles (ABA experience is a plus).
  • Full-time: Approximately 40 hours per week. Mostly Monday through Friday, but occasionally weekend availability is needed (e.g., planning for / attending anevent)
  • Location: Remote-based, but must be based in Wisconsin.
  • Travel: Ability and willingness to travel extensively within Wisconsin and other states where Mindcolor has a presence as needed. You will spend most of your time “on the road” visiting physician offices. Approximately 2/3 of time will be spent traveling within Wisconsin, and 1/3 traveling to other states
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation required for daily "drops" and meetings.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, and engage in frequent movement to respond quickly in various scenarios.
  • Ability to process complex information and act in a professional manner at all times.
