As a Concrete Finisher at Steed Industries, you will play a vital role in the construction process, responsible for finishing concrete surfaces to ensure they are smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing. Key Responsibilities  

• Concrete Finishing: Execute finishing techniques to create smooth, durable surfaces, including floors, sidewalks, and walls. 

• Surface Preparation: Prepare and set forms for concrete pours, ensuring accurate dimensions and alignment. 

• Mixing and Pouring: Assist in mixing concrete as needed and pouring concrete into forms to complete structures. 

• Quality Control: Ensure that finished surfaces meet both aesthetic and functional requirements, conducting quality checks throughout the process. 

• Tool Operation: Operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively, maintaining them in good working condition. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including laborers and supervisors, to achieve project goals. 

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and Best Practices on-site, promoting a culture of safety among the crew. 

• Problem-Solving: Identify and address any issues that arise during the finishing process to maintain project integrity and timelines. 

Qualifications  

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in concrete finishing is a plus. 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete finishing or related construction roles. 

• Strong knowledge of concrete properties and finishing techniques. 

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications. 

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work. 

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. 

• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. 

• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in construction.
