Position: Condo Collateral Review Underwriter

Rapid Mortgage Company is a leading financial services provider committed to delivering exceptional lending solutions with integrity and excellence. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Condo Collateral Review Underwriter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with FULL REVIEW CONDO project approvals and a strong working knowledge of Conventional loan underwriting.

Position Overview:

In this role, your primary responsibility will be reviewing condominium project documentation to determine eligibility in accordance with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac requirements. The ideal candidate brings expert knowledge of full condo project review requirements, and as a bonus, can also underwrite Conventional loan files. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our mortgage pipeline while working collaboratively with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and underwrite full review condo project documentation for Conventional loan eligibility


• Confirm compliance with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac condo project guidelines


• Communicate clearly and effectively with processors, loan officers, and management


• Perform Conventional loan underwriting - when needed


• Maintain high standards for accuracy, consistency, and turnaround times

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in full review condo project underwriting


• Conventional loan underwriting experience strongly preferred


• Must have worked in a condo underwriting role within the last year


• Proficient in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines


• Experience with Encompass is required


• Ability to work independently, manage multiple files, and meet deadlines

Work Hours: Availability required between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
