Kasagi Labo is acquiring anime IPs and building an AI-powered social platform that connects fans and creators more effectively than traditional methods, automating and enhancing interactions like fan engagement and content creation, and proving so innovative that it’s fostering a global community and redefining anime fandom.

We’ve raised one of the largest seed rounds in SEA totalling US$20M to build out our vision. The team is small because we can’t hire great people as fast as the company is growing.

THE ROLE

As a Freelance Content House Creator, you’ll be contributing fresh, on-trend content around anime culture while working with our in-house content strategy team. This role is flexible but ideal for self-starters who can deliver high-energy content consistently and collaborate when needed. You’ll be part of a new experimental team redefining what anime content means to Gen Z.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Produce and submit short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram.

● Interpret content briefs and contribute creative spin to each post.

● Blend humor, trends, and anime culture into scroll-stopping content.

● Communicate regularly with our internal team for feedback and planning.

● Deliver content on a weekly basis based on our posting calendar.

QUALIFICATIONS

● Applicants must be aged 25 or below.

● Deep love for anime and familiarity with social platforms.

● Confident in creating video content independently.

● Strong sense of current TikTok, IG and Twitter trends.

● Reliable and able to meet deadlines without micromanagement.

COMPENSATION

Open to negotiation based on what you bring to the table. We’re willing to pay above market for exceptional talent!
