Content Pre-Screener Italian

The Language Doctors, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Content Pre-Screener Italian to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will meticulously screen PDF files to identify and exclude non-medical content from transcription or translation processes. Your strong reading comprehension skills and keen attention to detail will ensure that only relevant medical information is processed, maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our documentation workflow. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Review extensive medical records to identify ineligible content and contribute to the development of screening guidelines. 

• Make quick and accurate decisions regarding eligibility, applying evolving guidelines and marking excluded content appropriately to prevent further processing. 

• Escalate complex or confusing cases for resolution. 

• Proactively communicate with team members, offering constructive suggestions for improvement. 

• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Experience & Skills Required: 

• High school diploma eg. Scuola Superiore or equivalent (10 years or more). 

• Very good reading comprehension in (Italian), CEFR Level (will be tested). 

• Proficiency in (Italian) – (Level B2), and good knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening). 

• Ability to quickly learn and apply new rules and procedures. 

• Meticulous attention to detail. 

• Ability to embrace change and adapt readily. 

• Basic knowledge working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and PDFs. 

• Ability to work effectively under pressure. 

• Strong organizational skills. 

Preferred skills: 

• Experience reading medical texts, e.g., working in a medical assistant or secretarial setting or taking college courses. 

• Conversational knowledge of Spanish. 

Available Schedule: 

• Monday to Friday from 09:00 am to 5:30 pm EST
