About the project

Fixpoint is hiring Billing and Posting Clerks for a research project at a leading AI company. You will use your expertise to explain the challenges and skillsets of your job, explain what excellence looks like in your profession, and design questions related to your occupation as a Billing and Posting Clerks.

You're a good fit if you have experience with:

• Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors.
• Resolve discrepancies in accounting records.
• Prepare itemized statements, bills, or invoices and record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered.
• Operate typing, adding, calculating, or billing machines.
• Post stop-payment notices to prevent payment of protested checks.

or have similar experience.

Must-have qualifications

• Have 5+ years full-time work experience
• Native-level English skills
• U.S. residency
• Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet.
• Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule).

Compensation & logistics

• Hourly pay: $35 – $69, commensurate with experience and project fit.
• Hourly rate may be higher for exceptional candidates
• Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours.
• You will be classified as 1099 independent-contractor status; engagement is at-will.
• Entirely remote; work whenever you like as long as deadlines are met.
