About the project

Fixpoint is hiring Occupational Health and Safety Technicians for a research project at a leading AI company. You will use your expertise to explain the challenges and skillsets of your job, explain what excellence looks like in your profession, and design questions related to your occupation as a Occupational Health and Safety Technicians.

You're a good fit if you have experience with:

• Evaluate situations or make determinations when a worker has refused to work on the grounds that danger or potential harm exists.
• Supply, operate, or maintain personal protective equipment.
• Train workers in safety procedures related to green jobs, such as the use of fall protection devices or maintenance of proper ventilation during wind turbine construction.
• Test workplaces for environmental hazards, such as exposure to radiation, chemical or biological hazards, or excessive noise.
• Maintain all required environmental records and documentation.

Must-have qualifications

• Have 5+ years full-time work experience in Transportation and Warehousing.
• Native-level English skills
• U.S. residency
• Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet.
• Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule).

Compensation & logistics

• Hourly pay: $39 – $91, commensurate with experience and project fit.
• Hourly rate may be higher for exception candidates
• Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours.
• You will be classified as 1099 independent-contractor status; engagement is at-will.
• Entirely remote; work whenever you like as long as deadlines are met.
