Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Controller provide leadership over our invoice and travel expense programs. Our business is growing, and this is the start of our support needs in areas related to finance and accounting. .

Responsibilities and Duties

• Verify accounting transactions are booked to the proper chart of accounts.
• Close PnL and balance sheet in QuickBooks Online accounting system.

• Assist the leadership team with budget preparation.

• Mine data from various systems to support market intelligence to support price analysis.

• Perform ad hoc reports in federal government contract management portals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent MS Excel skills to include the ability to create pivot tables.
• Leadership in an administrative environment.
• Three years in an accounting, finance or business management position.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management and can justify financial recommendations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
• At least five years of progressive accounting, finance or business administration experience can substitute for bachelor's degree
