Position: Conventional Condo Underwriter

Rapid Mortgage Company a leading financial services company dedicated to providing exceptional lending solutions to our clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Underwriter to join our team. This role is crucial in evaluating mortgage loan applications and ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Job Summary:
As a Conventional Condo Underwriter, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and making loan approval decisions on residential mortgage loan applications. You will evaluate an applicant’s financial status, creditworthiness, property evaluations, and other factors to determine the risk of granting a loan. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of loan programs, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze condominium project documentation for eligibility


• Underwrite Conventional mortgage loans per agency guidelines


• Collaborate with processing to ensure smooth closings


• Maintain a high level of accuracy, consistency, and communication

Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in condo and Conventional underwriting with no more than one year gap since last underwriting role


• Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac guidelines
• Encompass experience required
  


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple files

Working Hours:
Must be available between the hours 8-6 EST.
