What You'll Do:
- Conduct complex legal research and analysis on corporate law, advertising and licensing regulations, and national compliance requirements.
- Draft, review, and revise a wide variety of legal documents including corporate filings, contracts, leases, disclosures, and real estate transaction agreements.
- Support real estate closings, including FIRPTA compliance and FinCEN GTO filings.
- Provide timely and thoughtful legal guidance on business operations and potential compliance risks.
- Assist with the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams on corporate transactions, document preparation, and due diligence.
- Maintain and organize legal documentation and systems, and manage document recording with county offices.
- Serve as a key point of contact for legal compliance issues as they arise in the field.
- Support regulatory audits, investigations, and internal risk assessments.
- Utilize legal research platforms, contract management systems, and e-filing tools effectively.

- Analytical thinker with a keen attention to detail and a strong sense of business judgment.
- Comfortable operating across multiple legal disciplines including real estate, compliance, and corporate governance.
What You Bring:
- 0–3 years of experience in real estate, mortgage, lending, finance, corporate law, or other highly regulated industries.
- JD from an accredited law school and an active law license in good standing (Texas preferred, other states considered).
- In-house or law firm experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with FIRPTA, FinCEN, TCPA, RESPA, Do Not Call, CAN-SPAM, AML, and data privacy regulations.
- Working knowledge of residential and commercial real estate processes and transaction documents.
- Experience preparing legal documents related to entity governance and compliance tracking.
- Notary Public (RON certification preferred).
