Job Description - Customer Support Specialist

The Customer Support Specialist at Amerapex Corporation plays a key role in maintaining our strong reputation for unmatched customer service. Serving as the first point of contact for our customers, the specialist must adequately address inquiries and resolve issues swiftly and effectively. This often involves assessing various situations to carefully ascertain the most effective resolution.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, phone, or face-to-face interactions.
    • Identify customer needs, clarify information, and provide solutions to problems.
    • Manage large amounts of incoming calls and generate sales leads where necessary.
    • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and ensure resolution to maximize customer satisfaction.
    • Keep records of customer interactions and process customer accounts and files.
    • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and scripts provided by the company.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless customer service.

Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
    • Previous experience in a customer support role with a track record of achieving customer satisfaction.
    • Strong phone handling skills and active listening capabilities.
    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize effectively.
    • Strong understanding and use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
    • Patience when handling tough cases.
