Dance Team Assistant Coach

Position:
Claremont Unified School District is accepting applications for the position of Dance Team 
Assistant Coach. This position is an excellent opportunity for an exceptional coach who has 
demonstrated the abilities, skills, and knowledge to lead a comprehensive dance program. This 
position is available for the 2025-2026 school year.

Required Qualifications:
•  Successful dance coaching experience or equivalent dance teaching and/or dance training 
experience.
•  Diverse dance education and knowledge. Versatile dance training in Hip Hop, Jazz and 
Contemporary, etc.
•  Must be available for after school practices and some weekend commitments.
•  Choreography experience for competitive events, rallies, community performances and 
more.

Personal Traits:
•  Has experience working with high school students and good rapport with students and 
families.
•  Is a team player dedicated to excellence in all phases of the educational program.
•  Has the ability to communicate effectively.
•  Is flexible.
•  Enthusiastic about building a sound dance program for the Claremont community.
