Stanley Consultants is currently seeking a Data Collection Department Manager for our Debary, FL office.
The Data Collection Department Manager will be responsible for overseeing the projects, equipment and scheduling of data collection projects, ensuring accurate and timely collection and analysis while also serving in a client facing role.

What You Will Be Doing:

    • Understand, review, and coordinate field collection tasks including scheduling of team.
    • Setup and assign processing tasks for studies once data is collected.
    • Serve as project manager on data collection projects, coordinating with the client as well as the internal team. Manage the hours and budget effectively to meet profitability goals.
    • Business Development responsibilities will include building partnering relationships with new and existing clients, developing and implementing strategy for growth.
    • Proposal support duties will include technical writing and content development, completing fee estimates, and participating in client interviews as needed.
    • Perform Quality Control reviews on submittals and deliverables.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment while mentoring and developing skillset of team by engaging in ongoing leadership and career growth discussions and demonstrating people-first leadership.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
    • Actively manage staffing levels to meet utilization goals of the department.

Required Qualifications:

    • Education: High school degree required, additional secondary education in related field preferred.
    • Experience: Previous supervisory experience preferred or minimum of 5 years of experience in data collection or similar technical field.
    • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience with count processing software a plus.
Managerial Scope: Oversee department and all team members. Varying degrees of leadership responsibility at the project or task level. May involve leading and mentoring lower-level technicians.

Physical Requirements: Entails manual labor, including ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment: Primarily office-based with travel into the field as necessary.

While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule. Members who participate will be assigned a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off!
