Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC is hiring a Journey-Level Data Governance Analyst to support the National Park Service (NPS) in implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and standards as part of a broader enterprise data management initiative. This role contributes to the development, documentation, and execution of data governance practices across systems and teams. This is a full-time position contingent upon contract award, with potential remote flexibility upon approval.

Job Responsibilities:

Data Governance Support Duties:

• Support the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise data dictionaries and metadata inventories.

• Assist in implementing data standards and governance policies across the organization.

• Contribute to data quality improvement initiatives by supporting standardization and best practices.

• Help document governance policies, procedures, and workflows.

• Support the NPS Data Governance Committee through scheduling, documentation, and reporting tasks.

• Assist with the development of internal communications and website content for data governance awareness.

• Contribute to reporting and performance tracking for governance-related tasks.

• Help identify, document, and prioritize ongoing governance activities and workstreams.

Essential Qualifications:

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check (NAC) or National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI).

Experience:

• Experience supporting enterprise data governance programs and policy implementation.

• Background working with data documentation and governance tools.

• Familiarity with supporting governance-related meetings, reports, and communications.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related technical field required.

Skills:

• Understanding of data structures, databases, and metadata.

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and government environments.
