In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing data linkage activities that are crucial for research initiatives. By leading data operations within secure, cloud-hosted environments, your expertise will facilitate the creation of high-quality, privacy-preserving linked datasets for researchers. Accountabilities
- Lead planning and execution for data linkage using various methods on longitudinal datasets.
- Direct day-to-day production including study intake, workflows, linkage runs, and data delivery.
- Coordinate with technical leads to keep linkage workflows robust, scalable, and secure.
- Translate policies and controls into processes that govern linkage operations.
- Own metrics and dashboards for linkage throughput and data quality.
- Drive continuous improvement using automation and AI workflows.
- Manage communications with staff, stakeholders, and research teams.
- Lead and support training for scientists and analysts.
- Plan and execute transitions for linked datasets and documentation.
Requirements
- Doctor’s degree in fields like biomedical sciences or health informatics.
- 7+ years of experience in data management or informatics programs.
- Deep knowledge of federal data security standards.
- Broad technical background in networks, hardware, and cloud services.
- Experience in risk management and data security.
- Exceptional communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
