This role serves as a strategic insights partner, transforming complex data from various platforms into actionable insights. The Data Manager will work collaboratively with different teams to help shape the future of data within a mission-driven context. Your expertise will drive the effectiveness of campaigns for nonprofit clients, ensuring that data-driven strategies are embedded in every engagement. Accountabilities
- Build and maintain advanced reporting dashboards across media, website analytics, and CRM data.
- Analyze campaign performance to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
- Partner with teams to ensure data effectively informs targeting and creative development.
- Develop measurement frameworks tailored to nonprofit goals.
- Lead analyses on donor journeys and conversion funnels.
- Standardize reporting processes and improve data hygiene practices.
- Present actionable insights clearly to clients.
- Support forecasting and budgeting for campaigns.
- Collaborate on new tools and platforms to enhance analytics capabilities.
- Mentor junior team members for building a strong analytics function.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics, preferably in agency or nonprofit.
- Deep expertise in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and major ad platform analytics.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience with nonprofit KPIs and campaign metrics.
- Ability to translate data into strategic insights.
- Understanding of attribution models and conversion measurement best practices.
- Comfort with large datasets and advanced analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting insights effectively.
- Entrepreneurial mindset focused on improving processes and systems.
- Familiarity with CRM or fundraising platforms is a plus.
