Accountabilities
- Overarching responsibility for data products related to participant recruitment and genomic data analysis.
- Design of data solutions in collaboration with teams for end-to-end data workflows.
- Ensure respectful and secure handling of data from under-represented groups.
- Develop research data governance policies.
- Manage data flow and coordination across the project through effective vendor management.
- Facilitate data product management decisions to ensure consistency and sustainability.
- Capture requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Articulate data governance and management best practices to diverse audiences.
- Collaborate on technical decision-making and documentation of data products.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data product ownership or data engineering.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience in designing reliable and scalable data products and workflows.
- Familiarity with data modeling standards such as UML 2.0 and ER Diagrams.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Curious and eager to learn new techniques in data science.
- Experience in implementing and designing data pipelines.
- Background in data analysis and process improvement.
- Team-oriented with a focus on collaborative problem-solving.
